Marion's retirement

Past and current village hall trustees, together with other guests, attended a small party on 13th January 2022 to celebrate the 20 years of loyal service given to the village hall by Marion Britton.

Marion joined the village hall as caretaker in January 2002 and has undertaken this role conscientiously and without a break until the end of 2021. She was presented with a bouquet of flowers and a framed original pencil drawing as retirement gifts at her party. She has indicated her wish to remain involved with village hall activities and so it is likely that the local community will see her in action at fundraising and other events at the hall in the future. The trustees wish her good health and happiness in her retirement.
